Free Monthly E-commerce Virtual Assistant Support for Charities. (UK)

The E-commerce Assist Charity Partner Programme provides charities with 14 hours of free e-commerce virtual assistant support each month for 3 months.

This support is focused on practical, hands-on execution to help charities build, manage, or improve their online store without adding pressure to internal teams.

Each partnership is intentionally limited, ensuring dedicated time, consistent support, and meaningful progress rather than one-off advice.

What the free virtual assistant support includes

Example support you can expect

  • Organising your online shop
Tidying up products, prices, and categories so your shop is easier to manage and easier for supporters to navigate.

  • Improving website content
Rewriting product and page text in clear, plain English so visitors quickly understand what you do and how to support you.

  • Creating or improving landing pages
Building simple pages for fundraising appeals, campaigns, or key messages that are easy to share and work well on mobile.

  • Keeping the website healthy and reliable
Checking that pages load properly, links work, forms submit correctly, and the site works smoothly across devices.

  • And more, where it adds real value
The monthly support is flexible and used where it will make the biggest difference at the time.

Who this programme is for

This programme is for charities doing important work that want to make better use of their online presence but don’t always have the time, budget, or in-house support to manage it.

Current eligibility

To keep the support meaningful, one charity is selected at a time.

For this initial phase, the programme is open to:

  • Charities based in Brighton and Hove

  • Registered charities or community-led charitable organisations

  • Organisations able to commit to the full 3 month partnership

As the programme develops, the intention is to extend this support to charities in other areas.

It’s a good fit for charities that:
  • Work with small teams or volunteers

  • Run an online shop, fundraising pages, or campaigns

  • Prefer practical, hands-on support over reports or advice

  • Value collaboration, clarity, and steady progress

The aim is to work alongside you, understand your mission, and support the work you already do in your community.

How the programme works (first come, first served)

The Charity Partner Programme is offered on a first come, first served basis. The first eligible charity to apply will be offered the 3 month partnership, including 14 hours of free e-commerce virtual assistant support each month.

To keep the support meaningful and focused, only one charity is supported at a time. Once the current partnership ends, applications will reopen for the next charity.
