At Ecommerce Assist, we provide digital products and professional e-commerce support services. As all of our offerings are either digital or service-based, this Refund Policy reflects how our services are delivered and governed.

Where applicable, individual services and tasks are covered by separate service agreements agreed with each client. Those agreements take priority over this general Refund Policy.

Digital Products

This includes (but is not limited to):

  • Digital downloads

  • Templates and resources

  • Code snippets or custom sections

  • Guides, documents, and digital assets

Once a digital product has been purchased and delivered, all sales are final.

Due to the nature of digital content, refunds, exchanges, or cancellations are not available unless:

  • The product is faulty or inaccessible, and

  • We are unable to provide a working replacement.

If you experience an issue accessing a digital product, please contact us so we can resolve it promptly.

Services

This includes (but is not limited to):

  • E-commerce virtual assistant services

  • Shopify setup, configuration, and optimisation

  • Website support, consulting, and technical tasks

  • One-off tasks, retained hours, or ongoing support

All services are delivered in line with the specific service agreement agreed with the client before work begins.

Before Work Has Started

If a service is cancelled before any work has started, a full or partial refund may be issued at our discretion, depending on the terms outlined in the relevant service agreement.

After Work Has Started

Once work has begun, services are non-refundable. This includes:

  • Time already spent

  • Research, planning, setup, or configuration

  • Any work delivered or in progress

If concerns arise, we encourage clients to raise them as early as possible so we can address them in line with the agreed scope.

Individual Tasks & Custom Work

Many of our services involve custom, task-based work. Each task or project may have:

  • Its own scope

  • Its own timeline

  • Its own pricing and payment terms

These details are outlined in the individual service agreement, which will specify any applicable cancellation or refund conditions. Once a task has started, it is generally non-refundable.

Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds will not be provided for:

  • Change of mind

  • Services already delivered or in progress

  • Delays caused by missing information, access, or approvals from the client

  • Outcomes outside our control (including third-party platforms, apps, or software)

Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law. If we fail to deliver services as agreed, we will always work with you to reach a fair and reasonable resolution.
